Territorial Acknowledgement

I  acknowledge with respect the Lekwungen peoples on whose traditional unceded territory my business stands, and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land must be recognized. 

Where Wild Things Glow recognizes that colonization and associated attitudes, policies and institutions have significantly changed Indigenous peoples’ relationship with this land.

I am committed to redressing those historical and continued barriers and recognizing the unceded land I work on.

As part of my commitment to reconciliation I am trying to build better and meaningful relationships with our local Indigenous communities. In part with this commitment, a percentage of all proceeds on  products purchased from me will be donated each month to the Local Victoria Friendship Centre.
